Participation of Associate Prof. Faridullah Farahmand Head of Social Sciences Department on “Regional Academic Dialogue on Lapis Lazuli Corridor and its Impacts in Afghanistan”

On 25th to 26th of February 2019 the dialogue on Lapis Lazuli Corridor and its Impacts in Afghanistan was held in auditorium of Kabul University. Associate Prof. Faridullah Farahmand has participated In this academic regional dialogue and in second day of this gathering he presented his article which was titled “Socio-Cultural Consequences of Lapis Lazuli Route” in presence of Professor Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Adviser of Chief Minister in Higher Education Affairs of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Voice-Chancellor of Kabul University, Chancellors and Voice-Chancellors of Afghanistan’s universities, Kabul University`s lecturers and other governmental organizations representatives. Associate Prof.Faridullah Farahmand has declared the most important Socio-Cultural Consequences of Lapis Lazuli Route as the following: • Social development • Cultural development • Enhancement of tourism attraction • Reconstruction of the country • Consolidation of relations among nations along the Lapis Lazuli Route • Providing many work opportunities for unemployed youths • Empowering of public trust and belief for living a better life in their homeland • Convergence`s improvement under effect of conventional values and common beliefs growth • Life`s better quality • Supporting the feeling of unity and attachment to each other among nations After the successful presentation, the leadership of Kabul University and Administrative Office of the President has appreciated associate Prof. Faridullah Farahmand for his academic presentation.
